EMT-TRAINING ASSOCIATES CONTINUING EDUCATION CONTENT SUMMARY STATEMENT LETTER
This "disclaimer" is to verify that all basic and/or advanced level continuing education programs sponsored by EMT-TA, will follow guidelines as identified by the State Of Massachusetts, Department of Public Health Office Of Emergency Medical Services.
Guidelines have been set to ensure that all instructor(s) are aware of their responsibilities in covering the material so that each level of EMT viewing these programs will understand his/her individual and collective roles and responsibilities, in rendering the required standards of care as defined by their level of Certification and Regional, State and National standards of care or protocols.

"REGIONAL PROTOCOLS DO DIFFER AROUND THE STATE".
Therefore skills and procedures covered in these programs will not identify all of the required skills and/or procedures as established in all State Regional Protocols. We will try to address the primary ones, however, it is the responsibility of each Health Care Provider to know and understand what he/she can and cannot perform in accordance with National, State and Local Standards of Care and Protocols.

Any information provided above the level of care for any EMS Provider will be considered for informational purposes only and will serve as an ALS / BLS interface component.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE WILL ANY EMT BE INSTRUCTED TO PERFORM OR ASSIST IN ANY PROCEDURE (S) ABOVE THEIR LEVEL OF CERTIFICATION.

NOTE: All A.L.S. Treatment Modalities Including Skills, Procedures And Medication Administration Shall Follow Established State D.P.H. and Regional Protocols.
